{29 Weeks}

So, I haven't been good with updating....But we are having a GIRL!

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 29 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby S is the size of an squash....weighing about 2.5 lbs.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 9 lbs. We did a 3D sonogram last week and I will post pictures....but her heartbeat was still strong in the 150s.
Maternity Clothes: Maternity clothes......Getting pretty sick of the clothes I have, but I am not buying anymore.
Gender: GIRL
Movement: Lots! She moves all the time....Especially when I lay down to go to sleep at night!
Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well!
What I miss: Being able to bend over easily
Cravings: Nothing really this week.

Symptoms: Heartburn

Best Moment this week: Mother's Day was great! Jack was so sweet all day. He painted me a box at the daycare and glue jewels to it...I will post a picture...He was so proud of it. More and more words this week as well....His new favorite thing besides toooools is mowing. He loves to watch anyone mow the grass. He also learned to make a scary face which I need to get a picture of. Super funny and David and I laugh everytime he does it.


PS - David and Leo made a lot of progress this weekend planting...Praying for good weather (SUN) so the little seeds will start to grow!

{16 Weeks}

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 16 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby S is the size of an avocado....over the next few weeks Baby S will double his/her weight and add inches in length!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 2 lbs still. I had a Dr. Appt this morning. Heart beat strong and in the 140-150s.

Maternity Clothes: Wearing maternity pants just because they are more comfortable. Shirts are still fitting well. Trying to pack for Belize is challenging though. Maternity shirts are way to big but my normal ones are getting a little tight!

Gender: Find out on Feb. 28
Movement: A little.....

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well...having weird dreams though.
What I miss: Nothing

Cravings: Nothing really this week.

Symptoms: Nothing really

Best Moment this week: Jack is really learning what "Yes" and "No" mean. He is also learning to stake his head along with that. It is helpful is most cases, except for when you say it's time to go to bed and he says NO and stakes his head. Super cute and funny...It's hard for me not to laugh. He is so silly these days. He is also really into stealing your seat when you get up. If David or I get up from the recliner he quickly hurries over and climbs and rocks back and forth waiting for you to come back and ask him what he is doing....He usually lets out a big smile and loud laugh! Very sweet!

{15 Weeks and Lots of SNOW}

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 15 Weeks.....Starting the second trimester!
Size of baby: Baby S is 4 inces now
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 2 lbs!

Maternity Clothes: Wearing maternity pants just because they are more comfortable. Shirts are still fitting well.

Gender: Find out at the end of Feb.
Movement: A little.....Or at least I think.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well...
What I miss: Nothing really.

Cravings: Lots of water.

Symptoms: Cabin Fever....It snowed over 12 inches on Tuesday into Wednesday and we had to stay home both days.

Best Moment this week: Spending two full days with Jack was super fun. He is changing all the time and learning new things. He is really starting to pretend play which is fun.

{14 Weeks}

I'm 14 weeks!

How Far Along: 14 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby S is the size of an Apple....and started has started to pee! Kinda gross to think about actually.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 2 lbs!

Maternity Clothes: Wearing maternity pants just because they are more comfortable. Shirts are still fitting well.

Gender: Find out at the end of Feb.
Movement: None yet....Can't wait to feel little Baby S move!

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well...
What I miss: Although I really miss sleeping on my back and stomach.

Cravings: Nothing really this week.

Symptoms: Still Freezing! My Dr.tested my iron and thyroid and everything is normal. Just the hormones...but I am still freezing and this is not normal for me. I am sleeping with like 5 blankets. David keeps making fun of me.

Best Moment this week: Going to the Eric Church and Jason Aldean concert this weekend with David, Kate and Matt at Mizzou. It was awesome. Jason Aldean was amazing! Jack stayed home with my parents, and he was so happy to see us when we got home. We also told my parents that we are having another one....See picture above. Even though Jack has no idea what this means for him!!

{13 Weeks}

I'm 13 weeks!


Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 13 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby S is the size of an lime
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 2 lbs!

Maternity Clothes: Wore maternity jeans the other night just because my regular jeans are getting a little tight and were in the wash!

Gender: Find out at the end of Feb.
Movement: None yet....Can't wait to feel little Baby S move!

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well
What I miss: Having a beer with David while watching football on Sunday.

Cravings: This week I am craving lunchmeat! Since my Dr. says no lunchmeat due to the concerns of Listera Bacteria (http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/bacterial_viral/listeria.html)....I will stay away.

Symptoms: Heartburn a little and exhausted still....when will it end. I just want some engery back!

Best Moment this week: The Bears winning on Sunday and Jack saying Papa now. It was so special to see him say Papa to David's Dad...What a great moment!

{Harvest}

This was a very successful year for the Stokes Farming Operations. No major breakdowns except for the one I caused.....Oops! Jack was gone for the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Geisler to the Ozarks...It was our first weekend with out him at home. The weather was beauitful. The Stokes Farming Operation was getting underway and I was going to help this year like a big girl. So, I was given the duty of driving the grain cart. I had never drove the tractor with the grain cart attached and was trying to be a little to helpful and unload the grain cart by myself into the wagons and hit the Auger on the back of the wagons when I pulled around....Needless to say there was a lot of crying. I felt so bad, but David and Leo were pretty undertanding and didn't even yell at me. I learned a big lesson...But, luckly our friend JWC knows how to weld and came to our resecure of Sunday. He cut out the area and then welded a new piece in place. Now we just need some Kinze blue paint and it will be good as new. Otherwise, Daivd is very happy with our new combine....He loved the yield monitor. We actually feel like real farmers now. We feel very blessed to have had such a great crop this year. Thank you mother nature.

{Were Back}

It's been a long 6+ months....But, were back and going to blog again. Jack is ONE! I can't believe it. We had an awesome birthday party for him with all of our great family and friends!
